Controls Assurance Analyst
10 Month FTC
Location: Edinburgh, (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)
Salary: A competitive salary from £32,400 - £40,500, depending on the experience you can bring

As a Control Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for SoX compliance, CASS and Conduct risk compliance, Risk Event management, Operational Resilience Management, Breaches management, and Internal Policy compliance. You will receive support from the Control Assurance Administrator(s) in order to deliver effective workflow management and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and automate effective reporting, highlighting trends and themes and actions to improve.
2. Be the SME project representative in key change programmes.
3. Deliver BAU quality in terms of controls oversight - take full ownership, plan, prioritise and manage the day-to-day risk & control activities (team level), ensuring completion within agreed SLAs. This can take the form of oversight of incident and breaches activity highlighting trends and understanding key drivers of the trends. Developing actions in consultation with key stakeholders.
4. Conduct quality assurance activities and first line testing across Operational areas.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
1. Prior experience of establishing and embedding robust and effective controls to mitigate areas of risk exposure.
2. Strong data analysis with proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
3. Ability to take large data sets and summarise into Management Information which is easy to understand.
4. Ability to automate reporting of large volumes of data into automated reporting.
