About the Role
To provide the evaluation of transport schemes in accordance with grant funding requirements. To provide management and technical data analysis support and develop new systems for the collection and monitoring of transport related data. To oversee the collection and monitoring of all forms for transport related data as required by the City Council. To ensure that collection, monitoring storage and use of data is carried out in accordance with legal requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of data collection and statistical analysis best practice.
Knowledge of current appraisal and evaluation best practice.
Specialist knowledge and practical understanding of issues relating to local transport policy, process and impact evaluation approaches and project implementation and the links to other disciplines including planning, public transport, economic development, public health, climate change and sustainability.
Experience of communicating effectively and accurately orally and in writing, including an ability to analyse complex information and data and providing reports, briefings and presentations in a format appropriate to the audience
Pro-active and problem solving approach.
