Are you a Registered Nursing Associate looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are delighted to invite you to join our dynamic team within the ambulatory areas primarily at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills while experiencing a variety of clinical settings.
Main duties of the job
About the Role
The Ambulatory Team provides care across multiple specialities, giving you the chance to expand your skills in a variety of dynamic environments. Some samples of what we offer:
* Puzzle Wood is a small but versatile team supporting follow-up appointments, rapid access clinics, and "hot" clinics.
* Carousel and Fairground see a high volume of patients from a wide variety of specialities.
* Rainforest specialises in burns and plastics but also cares for patients with spinal, neuromuscular, and neurosurgical conditions.

Person specification
Qualifications & Training
* Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
* GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of caring for sick patients in a variety of settings – this could be as trainee
* Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of when to seek advice and escalate to the appropriate professional for expert help and advice.
Skills and Abilities
* Good basic level of English language demonstrated through effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to solve problems and use initiative.
* Ability to develop own clinical skills and a willingness to participate in continuing professional development.
* A team player.
* Flexible working practices for 24 hour service.
