Shift: Rotating Shifts - 3 shifts rotating, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am (40 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum depending on experience

Role Overview: As our next Multi Skilled Engineer, you will enable us to optimise machinery output and product quality, and minimise plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance and efficient breakdown response in specific areas of the factory while maintaining a safe and healthy environment and promoting good engineering practices.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
As our next Multi Skilled Engineer, you will:
* Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one area of the factory or lower tier of Multi-Skilled Engineer framework.
* Assist in building an up-to-date PPM system and ensuring planned maintenance is carried out professionally and promptly.
* Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective corrective action is taken.
* Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns in more than one area on site, keeping all stakeholders informed and identifying root causes to suggest improvements.
* Report and track lost time, causes of breakdowns, record parts used/required, and Health and Safety and Environmental Issues.
* Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety guidelines, highlighting possible areas of improvement to the Shift Supervisor/Manager.

What You Bring To The Role:
* Extensive experience in engineering within a similar environment.
* Educated to L3 or equivalent in Engineering or Maintenance.
* Electrical or Welding/Fabrication experience.
* Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment and the ability to fault find.
* Mechanical fitting skills.
* Ability to mentor Level 1/2 Maintenance Engineers and Apprentices.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Basic IT knowledge to support with shift handover.
