Changing Places Sales Consultant
Location: Midlands & North
Type: Remote
Compensation: Basic + Car + Uncapped Commission
Overview: My client is a leading manufacturer and installer of patient care and handling equipment. The company's ethos is to improve the lives of disabled and elderly people needing care, promoting independence, dignity, and well-being.
The role involves creating new enquiries through education to architects, venues, and organizations regarding the new legislation and benefits of Changing Places. You will harvest incoming leads from marketing and planning databases and manage them through to the order stage with the client or contractor.
Main Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Create opportunities through education and awareness training to architects, potential venues, and influencers.
2. Harvest leads from marketing and planning databases.
3. Drive repeat business and referrals through excellent service and relationships.
4. Provide technical knowledge of the product range and installation requirements.
Collaboration:
* Work closely with Project Managers, Technical Director, Sales Director, Field Service Team, and third-party contractors.
Quotation Phase:
1. Understand specifications required for Changing Places and similar project installations.
2. Engage with site or facilities managers to advise on equipment layout, building fabric, and electrical/mechanical requirements.
3. Generate quotations from agreed pricing tables and labor estimates.
Contract Responsibility:
1. Initiate negotiation on customer contracts, identifying variations and charging appropriately.
2. Manage contractor contracts and defend claims for variations.
3. Close contracts formally as required.
