The ideal candidate will come from a local authority, service development, contract management, project management or resources planning type role, however, the organisation is interested in hearing from people who have transferable skills. Working as the Commissioning Officer you will join the organisation’s corporate Commissioning Team to develop services across the business. You will lead and support the commissioning of a wide variety of services helping to make the best of use of money and ensuring services have a positive impact on people’s lives. As the Commissioning Officer you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation delivers the best possible service within its available resources to support its ambitions.
