Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN Support

Our aim is to ensure every child, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), receives the support they need to succeed. We are seeking a passionate and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our SEN students.
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support students with a range of learning needs. Your role will involve providing one-on-one and small group support, helping students engage with their learning and ensuring they have the tools to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
* Assist with personalised learning plans and strategies to ensure students are fully included.
* Support the delivery of specific interventions to enhance learning.
* Help students develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
* Assist with personal care where needed.
* Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and SENCo.
* Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable.
* A positive and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* A relevant qualification in education or SEN support is an advantage but not essential.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
