Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to join our organisation in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Lead and inspire a team of department heads to achieve organisational goals and maintain high performance standards
* Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and drive business growth
* Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
* Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
* Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation
* Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing mentorship and guidance as needed
* Collaborate with the executive team to define and implement company-wide initiatives
* Represent the company at industry events and in media engagements when required
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive management experience in a similar high-end operation
* Previous experience of the contract catering market essential
* High passion for food, sustainability and creating a team environment.
* Understanding of craft and kitchen
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth
* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting
* Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
* Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Meticulous organisational skills and attention to detail
* In-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving customer satisfaction
* Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment
