Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Community Safety Assistant.
We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Community Safety Assistant in the Community Safety Team. You will be working within the Community Safety Team to support the development and delivery of effective and high-quality housing, anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse and customer safety services to our customers.
About the role
You will provide an efficient administrative service which will include the maintenance of records on behalf of the team. You will be required to deal with general customer enquiries, the installation and monitoring of CCTV and noise monitoring equipment and the installation of security measures into customers properties. You will also support colleagues with home visits in cases of, anti-social behaviour and domestic abuse and take part in community events.
About you
You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload often working to targets and tight deadlines. You will be part of a team but the role does require the ability to work on your own initiative and carry out lone working in the community and in tenant’s homes. Previous knowledge and experience within a social housing environment, housing legislation and knowledge of welfare reform changes would be an advantage.
A full UK driving licence is essential.

* Salary is £24,902 per annum plus the use of a Karbon Homes van
* Regular travel will be required
* 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
