12 Hour Shifts: Days or Nights or a Mixture available, Subject to availability
Salary: up to £19.15 per hour / £39,847 per year (based on 40 Hours)
Contract: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager to join a leading provider of behavioural care and specialist support services to adults and younger people.
Are you?
1. An experienced Registered Nurse (RMN/RNLD) with valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
2. Must have experience as a Deputy Manager in a hospital setting.
Knowledge, Training and Education:
1. Ensure compliance with mandatory training and professional development requirements.
2. Registered Nurse with current Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
3. Practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other appropriate NMC guidelines.
4. Accountable for nursing practice and committed to sustaining and improving knowledge and professional competence.
Competencies:
1. Evaluate situations through information obtained from patients, families, and other relevant sources.
2. Work closely with the service user to enhance understanding, insight, and motivation.
3. Identify early signs of deterioration in mental state and behaviour.
4. Support service users to develop skills to self-manage their medication.
5. Support users to engage/re-engage with family and friends.
6. Identify service needs and liaise with stakeholders to develop integrated services.
