They are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant (Maths Specialism) to support their students through their GCSE maths. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant with a Maths specialism, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and development, both inside and outside the classroom. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support for students, helping them to achieve their full potential in GCSE Mathematics and develop their confidence in the subject. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with Mathematics, up to and including GCSE level. Working alongside teachers to plan and deliver differentiated learning materials. Providing one-on-one and small group interventions to enhance students' understanding of key mathematical concepts. Supporting students with special educational needs (autism spectrum conditions) in their learning journey. Helping to monitor and assess student progress, reporting on their development and identifying areas for further support. Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students. Candidate Requirements: A strong knowledge of Maths, up to GCSE level (A-level Maths or equivalent qualification desirable). Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum (desirable but not essential). Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.
