Located in the Woolton area (L25), this Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ school is well known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing a high-quality education for all pupils. The school takes pride in offering engaging learning experiences and enrichment activities, ensuring all children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), can fully participate in the curriculum.
With a higher-than-average number of SEND and disadvantaged pupils, experience working with these groups would be beneficial, but it is not essential.
The Role
As a KS2 Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Year 4 curriculum in a way that is engaging, accessible, and inclusive for all pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering fun and interactive lessons.
* Adapting learning activities to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND.
* Supporting or leading extracurricular activities during and after school.
* Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other support staff (experience managing classroom support would be helpful but is not required).
* Contributing to the development of the school’s primary science curriculum (expertise in this area would be an advantage but is not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
