Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
* Assessing and monitoring patient conditions and arranging diagnostic tests
* Recognising deterioration in the physical or mental condition of a patient and taking appropriate action/ escalation
* Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
* Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
* Recognising limitations and escalating concerns

Shift Patterns: Flexible
What you'll need:
* RN(Adult), RN(Child) or RSCN, RN (LD)
* With specific children's experience and learning disability experience.
* Evidence of broad clinical experiences
* Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
* Experience of staff management
* Evidence of professional development
* Good understanding of current nursing workforce issues
* Clear understanding of community health services
* Ability to work well in stressful situations
* Experience of initiating and participating in clinical audit
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of:
* Statement of NMC Registration
* Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Experience
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a School Nurse for Children and Young People environment within the last 2 years.
