Our teachers are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. There are many ups and downs, and for some of our young people, sitting through a lesson can be a significant achievement. We call these huge small victories, and while they may seem small on the surface, they collectively make a big difference.
Get out what you put in
You’ll work with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Your role will involve helping them learn, develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. You need to be resilient and dedicated, but the huge small victories you achieve will be a source of pride.
It can be challenging, but the positive progress will more than compensate. As a Teacher at Witherslack Group, you’ll receive comprehensive support, including in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals. Your colleagues are highly skilled, the school environments are well-resourced, and we will support you every step of the way to build a rewarding teaching career.
