Job Title: Locum MSK Physiotherapist Position : Senior Rotational Physiotherapist Banding : Band 6 Location : London Start Date : ASAP Position Type: 3 Months (with potential for extension) Hours : 37.5 hours per week Responsible to : Specialty Team Leaders and Clinical Lead & Professional Head of Physiotherapy Specialty Team Leaders and Clinical Lead & Professional Head of Physiotherapy Accountable to: Clinical Lead & Professional Head of Physiotherapy Rate : £24 - £27 per hour Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Locum Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital. In this role, you will perform specialized physiotherapy assessments and develop comprehensive treatment and management programs for patients with both acute and chronic conditions. You will work autonomously, maintaining accurate records and collaborating closely with a variety of healthcare professionals. What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role? As a Band 6 Locum Rotational Physiotherapist you will conduct highly specialized physiotherapy assessments for patients with acute and chronic conditions, developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings. You will implement and monitor treatment programs, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You will actively participate in the education and training of staff grade Physiotherapists, Technicians, Assistants, Students, and other healthcare professionals. You will deputize for the Team Leader Physiotherapist in their absence, ensuring continuity of care and departmental function. You will participate in the 7-day service rota, providing essential support to patients throughout the week. You will also take part in the emergency on-call respiratory rota as required. Additionally, you will complete rotations in Acute Stroke, Admission Avoidance, Respiratory, Medical, Elderly Care, and Orthopaedics, enhancing your clinical skills and experience. Qualifications and Experiences: Must be a registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Must have a relevant degree in Physiotherapy. Must have experience in a variety of clinical settings, particularly in acute and chronic conditions. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must demonstrate flexibility and a commitment to participating in a 7-day service and on-call rota.
