This will be us - your new colleagues within Infrastructure & Onsite Services Infrastructure & Onsite Services (IOS) is globally responsible for all Volvo Group D&IT infrastructure services. As most of these services are delivered by an IT partner, the mission is focused on Service Management, new service development, architecture and innovation, outsourcing partnership management, as well as managing the remaining IT infrastructure delivery teams in Volvo. Core infrastructure Services Core infrastructure is part of Business Infrastructure Services department from IOS and has the responsibility for Network (e.g. LAN/Wireless LAN, WAN/SD WAN, Internet, Datacenter LAN) and Network Security (e.g. Security gateways, Firewalling, Network segmentation, Remote access solutions) Services. Both areas deal with traditional (on premise) environments as well as into Cloud environments, in a multi sites (Datacenters, Campuses, Factories, Dealers) and a multi-Clouds context. Core infrastructure Services is now looking for a new Service Leader The mission is to ensure management of core suppliers (e.g. WAN vendor contracts) over all phases of the life cycle. This is happening in close collaboration with our IT infrastructure partner who is overall responsible for services and operations delivered by these vendors. The Service Leader monitors the actual services levels, controls that they are in line with targeted service levels and manages corrective actions with the suppliers. The Service Leader oversees and participates in runtime process interactions with the suppliers. The Service Leader is commercially responsible for service delivered by the supplier, which includes participation in both budgeting and follow-up. The Service Leader has the tactical responsibility for optimizing and improving those services over time. This is how you could make an impact • Governance of the services and Contract improvements • Perform negotiations to modify, clarify, or optimize the services provided by the suppliers • Define, drive, and engage in stakeholder interaction model and communication • No direct personnel responsibility, but managing the delivery of suppliers implies driving activities performed by the supplier teams and often direct or indirect coaching of suppliers’ personnel, where exerting influence and often negotiation are required • The Service Leader also liaises between Volvo teams and HCL, regarding escalations and complex issues requiring the expertise and authority to be solved • Manage the entire lifecycle of one or more IT services • Advise policies and guidelines, strategic directions, a long-term plan, and roadmaps for Services • Monitor the quality levels of the services delivered and manage corrective actions with the suppliers • Assume commercial responsibility for the services provided by the suppliers • Monitor the quality levels of the services delivered, verify that they are in line with expectations • Ensure corrective actions with the suppliers. These are the main expectations on you : • Fluency in English for the international context • Ability to comprehend contractual written English • Good practice in negotiation and facilitation of decision making. • Ability to convince and manage stakeholders (internal or external) in scope • Excellent communication & presentation skills • At ease in a multi-cultural environment • Understanding and ability to present and explain business use cases and value proposition of using services in different contexts • Strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for your unit, understanding how these contribute to the Volvo Group vision and strategy • Ability to assess service delivery by suppliers and identify performance gaps or need for improvement • Proven experience as overseeing runtime and financial activities for IT infrastructures in an international context • Proven experience working with ITIL & SIAM services context • Ability to get things done and execute as planned • Ability to prepare, present and propose decisions at management (Director, VP) level We value your data privacy and therefore do not accept applications via mail.
