Further Information: A Female Personal Assistant, who has a love for dogs, is required to support a young disabled woman in the Sutton Park area of Hull. The PA is required to work weekends to include morning and early evenings, and must be flexible to cover holidays and sickness. The PA will be employed by me through a personal budget I receive from Social Services.
The PA's duties include personal care support with dressing, meal preparation, and domestic tasks. The PA would need to attend social activities, appointments, assist with shopping, and carry out any other reasonable requests, like walking my dog. I need support to help maintain my interests and hobbies like swimming, cinema, and clothes shopping.
The PA must be honest, trustworthy, flexible, reliable, and respect the confidentiality of my personal details. A car driver is preferred, and only female candidates will be considered due to personal care needs.
Important Information: There is a genuine occupational requirement for a FEMALE worker, and therefore only applications from FEMALES will be considered. *Exempt under the Equality Act 2010 (schedule 9, Part 1).
