Job Title: Store Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager
Job Overview:
Total responsibility for the running of the store, ensuring that every customer receives an unbeatable coffee experience. To Champion Sim Trava culture and embed this within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Takes ownership for the results and success of the store, leading the store team in delivering an unbeatable coffee experience to every guest.
2. Accountable for adhering to all aspects of health and safety within the store for customers, team members, and external visitors.
3. Responsible for delivering brand standards by ensuring the store is operated in line with all Costa standards, policies, and procedures.
4. Manage the stock and order systems for food & consumables to ensure 100% supply while delivering budgeted margins/profit.
5. Analyze and act upon financial/performance data to run the store efficiently and profitably.
6. Ensure effective control of labour.
7. Maintain cash & stock security in compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Hold regular team meetings to communicate key information and implement new initiatives effectively.
9. Resolve customer complaints in line with company policies/procedures.
10. Ensure a robust succession plan is in place for the store.
11. Conduct regular 1:1’s and reviews with all team members.
12. Recruit, train, coach, develop, and retain team members to deliver brand standards and an unbeatable customer experience.
13. Implement and maintain marketing updates and new POS effectively.
14. Collaborate with area/peer groups to share best practices and support the Area Manager with business activities.
15. Prepare for input into regular business reviews with the Area Manager.
Experience/Knowledge:
1. Previous management experience.
2. Experience in a customer-facing/hospitality environment.
3. Passionate about the brand.
4. Experience in managing a budget – labour and key controllable costs.

Salary: £30,870 per annum
