Bid Manager - Energy Storage Systems - Hybrid
A global organization that focuses on developing cutting edge energy storage solutions are currently looking for an established Bid Manager to join the team in the UK.
The successful Bid Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of energy storage project bids, from customer requirements analysis to bid process management and operation hand over. You will interact directly with customers and work closely with a varied team of professionals throughout the entire bid lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Analyse customer requirements and ensure all tenders are aligned with expectations.
* Develop and adjust bid response strategies based on input from sales and support functions.
* Drive the bidding process from initiation to completion, and assess the risks.
* Estimate the total project cost.
* Formulate the commercial and technical proposals.
Essential skills and experience:
* 3+ years of relevant work experience, with exposure to bid management in the renewable energy industry.
* Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a dynamic environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Knowledge of the renewable energy market, and willingness to learn more about energy storage solutions (ESS/BESS)
* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
