An exciting opportunity exists within Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, Learning & Development Department for 2 highly motivated receptionists. We are looking for well-organised people with excellent interpersonal skills who will be the first point of contact for all visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and experience of working in a customer focused environment. The role requires the ability to work as part of a wider team as well as having the ability to work independently when required, using initiative, and responding to change. Some light moving and handling is required to ensure training rooms are fit for purpose, ensuring the IT equipment is in full working order as well as the ability to problem solve IT issues on the day. The successful candidate(s) will predominately be based at the Education and Training Centre, Glenfield Hospital Site, but will also be required to cover reception at the Education and Training Centre Beaumont Leys Site, when required. Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities) Meeting and greeting of visitors to the training centre/s Keeping the reception area clean and tidy Re-stocking of the drinks machines for visitors Ensuring training rooms are fit for purpose Fault reporting Printing trust ID badges Completing training registers in a timely manner General administrative duties The post holder will have a proactive role in providing vital administrative support to Learning and Development. The post holder will act as Receptionist for delegates, professional visitors and colleagues who access the Learning & Development services and site. The post holder will provide face to face assistance, advice and information whilst projecting a professional and helpful manner. The post holder will also provide administrative support as directed by the Learning & Development Services Manager. The post holder will also contribute to the maintenance of facilities and resources. As part of the Learning & Development team you will contribute to the delivery of high quality customer service and be part of an environment that is conducive to a good learning experience.
