An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable and versatile person to lead on the estates strategy, manage all aspects of properties upkeep, care, maintenance, security, health and safety and facilities, and day to day management of the site team at Prince Henry’s High. This role will particularly suit somebody with experience of managing multiple facilities and caretaking/site teams and external contractors.The post holder is responsible for the management and development of all premises within the school. The post holder has overall managerial responsibility for premises management, ensuring the site team is organised to deliver a secure and compliant estate that facilitates outstanding education and prioritises the health and safety of students, staff, volunteers, visitors, and the wider community. The post holder is required to maintain and develop a professional effective working relationship with all stakeholders.
There is a considerable amount of flexibility in when the hours are worked, although these will usually be for 37 hours per week, 7 to 7.5 hours per day (with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break) within a range of 6.00am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday. Agreed overtime is payable for additional hours worked during evenings, weekends, school holiday periods or in responding to an out-of-hours emergency call out.
