We are currently seeking a dedicated Band 6 Community Rehab Physiotherapist to join a dynamic healthcare team based in Merseyside, Liverpool. This position is available to start as soon as possible offering part-time hours for an initial period of 3 months. This position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in a community setting, promoting independence and improving quality of life.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment to patients with a wide range of rehabilitation needs, including neurological, orthopedic, and musculoskeletal conditions.
2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals, utilizing a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices.
3. Deliver rehabilitation interventions in patients’ homes and community settings, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, carers, and support networks.
4. Educate patients and their families on self-management strategies, functional exercises, and adaptive techniques to maximize independence and facilitate recovery.
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
6. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
7. HCPC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
8. Proven experience working as a Band 6 Physiotherapist, preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting.
9. Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and rehabilitation techniques.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
11. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
12. Valid UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
