Provn are currently engaged on behalf of our client, a software solutions provider with a number of industry leading products, who are currently looking to bring on a proactive, analytical, and versatile Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of the company’s business support and management systems.
This role will focus less on client-facing products but instead software vital to the company’s operation.
In this unique role, you will take ownership of the systems, becoming partly responsible for the direction of the software, supporting modernisation of the solutions. One system is particularly interesting, as the company explores commercialising this.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the maintenance, enhancement, and modernisation of multiple business systems, with a vision for future commercial scalability.
2. Collaborate with the DevOps team, contributing to CI/CD processes and overall DevOps strategy.
3. Optimise integrations across the systems, including Salesforce, NetSuite and other business tools.
4. Work with Business Analyst(s) to identify and prioritise areas for technical improvement of the systems including migration to the cloud.
The Ideal Candidate
1. Proficient in .NET and C#, with knowledge of React or Angular frameworks.
2. Interested in Cloud and DevOps practices, ideally with exposure to Azure DevOps.
3. Comfortable working on internal and operational systems with experience integrating custom and commercial products.
4. Driven to learn and grow with the business, open to new technologies and methods.
