Job summary Please note this role is for 24 hours the applicant can work these hours over 4-5 days Monday -Friday at regular hours that suit the service. The role would be within a day surgery unit and the elective admissions lounge the hours of opening are 7am - 8pm Monday to Friday. The applicant would work closely with all of the team ensuring they had everything they needed to provide adaquate care to their patients, this includes dressings, leaflets and supplies for a successful discharge. Stock levels need to be checked each shift and the forming of an effective relationship with the trusts stores department is essential to allow an uninterrupted work flow. They would also need to be able to order stocks/specialist equipment through the trusts cardea system. You will work well with the management team on the ward in promoting a positive environment for both staff and patients the role of health and well being lead could be implemented here also.
