Role
The HR Hiring Manager will oversee and drive the recruitment strategy for AESC’s growing workforce in the Newcastle, U.K. This role requires a highly experienced HR professional with at least eight years of recruitment experience, including experience in building and managing university recruitment systems. The HR Hiring Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and lead the development of talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent for various roles across the business.
Responsibility
1. Recruitment Strategy Development: Lead and implement recruitment strategies to attract talent for key technical, engineering, and business roles.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with department heads and hiring managers to define recruitment needs and align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
3. End-to-End Recruitment Management: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring, ensuring a seamless process for all candidates.
4. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and coordinators to deliver recruitment goals and ensure high-quality candidate experience.
5. Talent Pipeline Building: Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline for both current and future business needs, including utilizing various sourcing methods such as internal referrals, job boards, and campus engagement.
6. University Recruitment Experience: Demonstrated experience in creating and executing university recruitment systems, managing internships and graduate programs to build a sustainable talent pool.
7. Employer Branding: Promote AESC as an employer of choice through effective employer branding strategies, attending job fairs, networking events, and building relationships with educational institutions.
8. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with AESC's values and business needs.
9. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze recruitment metrics and data to provide insights into the effectiveness of hiring practices and make recommendations for improvements.
10. Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion in all recruitment efforts, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process..
Qualification
1. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition, with a strong track record in technical, engineering, and business recruitment.
2. University Recruitment Experience: Experience building and managing university recruitment systems, including campus engagement, graduate programs, and internship initiatives.
3. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, managing teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders to achieve recruitment goals.
4. Education: A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
5. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers.
6. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
7. Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to navigate cross-cultural communication, especially in a global organization with teams across various regions (e.g., UK, China, Japan).
