We’re looking for a Finance professional to support the expanding business. This role is a mix of finance, administration, and operational coordination, with a high level of responsibility and trust. You’ll be at the heart of the company, keeping things running smoothly while being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing invoices and handling VAT returns.
* Bank interactions, reconciliations, and remittances.
* Working with external accountants (very process-driven).
* Using SAGE on a day-to-day basis.
* Managing a fleet of vehicles, MOTs, servicing, and scheduling.
* Handling customer processes on portals and ensuring smooth workflow.
* Supporting the team with project coordination and asset management.
* Attending weekly operational meetings, ensuring teams have what they need for new jobs.
* Collaborating with different departments to improve systems and efficiency.
* Helping transition from Excel-based systems to automated project management tools.
* Researching and implementing solutions for better asset management and tracking.
Moving forward, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your own path, taking on additional responsibilities as you deepen your understanding of the business and gain more experience.
What We’re Looking For
* Finance background (Construction/engineering sector experience is a bonus).
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, varied role.
* Trustworthy and self-sufficient.
* Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges.
* Experience with SAGE is a must.
* Experience with asset management or project management systems would be a huge plus!
