The Company Nigel Wright Tech is delighted to be working with a not-for-profit organisation in their search for a Systems Owner. The Role The Systems Owner will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and improvement of critical IT systems within the organisation. Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems and integrations
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance system capability, scalability, security and efficiency
* Collaborate with the cyber security team to ensure that systems meet security standards and compliance requirements
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams and end users, to understand their requirements and priorities
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures
The Requirements Key requirements:
* Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation and security
* Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux), virtualisation technologies, networking and storage systems
* Experience of vendor, procurement and contract management is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
