Key Responsibilities
* Lead, organize, and manage patient care functions to ensure the highest quality outcomes.
* Supervise and guide nursing staff to promote excellent patient care and professional development.
* Oversee staffing, scheduling, and human resource management to meet departmental needs.
* Act as a role model in fostering a culture of quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
* Ensure nursing care complies with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, physician’s orders, policies, and established procedures.
* Demonstrate strong critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and address patient care needs.
* Monitor and manage processes for continuous improvement in clinical practices.
Qualifications
* Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Licensure meeting Florida requirements.
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
* Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
* Minimum of 1 year acute care hospital experience.
* At least 1 year experience as a full-time charge nurse, nursing administrative supervisor, or in nursing management.
* Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a charge nurse or clinical nurse coordinator in an acute care setting.
