Position Summary
This role is a key driver in supporting the rapid expansion of Techbuyer across the UK, promoting Techbuyer services and generating and nurturing leads for the End User, Purchasing and Trade teams from, and not limited to, marketing campaigns, web sales, sales inbox, web enquiries and visitors, vendor campaigns, Lead Forensics, and other marketing activity.
The role is key to ensuring all opportunities coming into the business are maximised and followed up by the appropriate sales team.
Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* As part of the Marketing team, follow up on campaign emails to promote the benefits of Techbuyer and its many services.
* Track and report the success of campaigns, ensuring thorough follow-up.
* Maintain and update lead information, ensuring accurate data entry into our CRM. Verify customer details and assess opportunities for future relationships.
* Handle trade web orders and follow up on marketplace orders.
* Review existing customer data for each team to identify potential leads and opportunities.
Data Management:
* Update NetSuite with new leads, customer details, opportunities.
* Qualify data and ensure correct customer/lead contact details are added to CRM.
* Allocate accounts to the correct pools.
* Monitor Lead Forensics and add NetSuite tasks for appropriate sales rep when required.
* Update lead tracking spreadsheet.
Lead Nurture:
* Research leads to establish previous contact, determine which sales team the lead falls under and update CRM with relevant background information.
* Follow up leads passed over from EUT Marketing (from vendor campaigns, internal marketing campaigns, website visits, email enquiry forms) via phone/email.
* Build relationships and nurture customers in their infancy to the point of passing to the sales reps.
* Set up meetings/calls with appropriate sales rep.
* Follow up opportunities from Lead Forensics that meet lead requirements.
* Identify leads from CRM pool data to follow up.
* Identify when a contact is at the point of requiring marketing comms and flag on CRM/database.
* Monthly lead reporting/tracking.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Ensure partnerships in place to work with sales team members on handing over leads.
* Input into website group for web issues.
* Convey sustainable IT solutions to contacts and keep up to date with industry sustainability standards.
Experience (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
* Tenacious approach to work, able to multi-task within a high-pressure environment.
* Skilled in key Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
* Previous Customer Service or Telemarketing/telesales experience would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience of Oracle NetSuite or similar CRM system.
* Extremely organised and structured, able to work on complex projects.
* Knowledge of the Information Technology industry an advantage but not essential. Comfortable engaging via phone, Teams, and face to face (when needed), with end users, suppliers, and partners.
* Strong interpersonal skills – ability to confidently and professionally liaise with customers and internal departments including Trade, resellers, EUT, Customer Services, RMA, Marketing.
