Senior Manager of Operations - What You'll be Doing:
1. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with correspondent banks in order to facilitate and ensure smooth working support and quick resolution of issues or concerns.
3. Liaise with Business Development and Financial Markets departments to meet funding requirements and manage funds movements in a timely manner.
4. Lead projects related to the operational systems, ensuring their timely completion, achievement of objectives, and cost efficiencies. Ensure smooth, error-free transitions during system changes or upgrades.
5. Liaise with the Head Office and IT regarding the HO’s system issues and other business requirements.
6. Supervise and lead a team of banking professionals, providing guidance and support.
7. Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
8. Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders to streamline processes and achieve operational excellence.
9. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the operations team.
10. Provide specialist knowledge and support to the Operations function to ensure deliverables are achieved to meet business requirements.
11. Prepare regular Management Information (MI) reports for the management team.
12. Assist with and cover any tasks within the department as needed.
Senior Manager of Operations - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
1. Extensive and proven experience in Operations.
2. Demonstrated experience in banking operations with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
3. Comprehensive understanding of Loans Administration.
4. In-depth knowledge of Payment Operations.
5. Solid grasp of Treasury Operations.
6. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
7. Experience in Financial Services Industry with a proven track record in similar departments or business streams.
8. Relevant professional qualification.
9. Strong team player with diligent work ethic and excellent communication skills.
