About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our growing production team within a dynamic and innovative engineering environment. This role focuses on precision machining to support the manufacturing of high-quality components for a variety of industries, with a strong emphasis on quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders with precision.
• Assemble tools and components to meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Produce high-quality parts within tight tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of manufacturing processes.
Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience working as a manual machinist.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical and engineering drawings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Experience with a variety of materials, primarily metals.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.

Hours:
• Monday to Friday, working a 4-day week rota from 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM (30-minute lunch break).
