The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced FP&A Senior Analyst to join our team and play a key role in driving financial decision-making and performance management. This is a high-profile position reporting to the Head of Performance Reporting & Planning, offering you the chance to work closely with senior leadership and influence key business decisions.
In this role, you'll focus on measuring and managing performance across key areas like EBIT, working capital, sustainability, and other important metrics. You'll also lead the annual planning cycle, including forecasts, budgets, and mid-term plans, while improving collaboration between business divisions for better planning efforts.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Analysing financial results and providing insights to challenge business performance and forecasts.
* Reporting on sustainability and operational results compared to budget and prior year.
* Supporting senior finance executives with financial analysis to drive operational and strategic decisions.
* Leading ad-hoc projects to improve FP&A processes and systems.
* Enhancing tools, templates, and reports, and driving process efficiencies.
You'll also get involved in developing business simulations, advising finance teams, and representing data in a clear, engaging way to highlight key insights.
Who you are
* 5+ years of post-qualification experience in financial planning, analysis, or related fields.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial planning systems (Excel, QlikView, Insight Software).
* Experience in leading projects, working with remote teams, and driving process improvements.
* Industry experience in sectors like resources, engineering, or construction would be a bonus.
