Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various office software.
Duties
* Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
* Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries as necessary.
* Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using computerised systems.
* Assist with administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
* To answer routine customer queries autonomously (full training will be provided to cover all standard queries)
* To take bookings, process payments and manage the calendar to ensure the facilities are not double booked for events.
* To support with administration tasks including, scanning, printing, photocopying and filing
* To ensure the digital and physical filing systems are organised, maintained and kept up to date
* To support with office tasks such as processing paperwork and data input onto the companies bespoke database systems
* To support with Sage50 related tasks as required (full training will be provided)
* To monitor access into the leisure facility building
* To be available and willing to cover the Office Assistant’s annual holidays
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
* Office/Administration experience
* A commitment to follow company procedures
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Confident with the use of Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of excel formulas is not required)
* The ability to successfully multi-task, to take ownership of your work and to work autonomously
* High attention to detail in all aspects of your work
* Excellent time keeping and time management skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
