The Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and support the finance team with aspects of the financial function within the business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Maintaining the purchase ledgers
2. Supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Manager with month and year-end duties
3. Responsible for the management of credit card activity within the business
4. Company Expenses: Collecting all transactions and line management authorisation, Web expenses experience, desirable.
5. Managing finance queries and general administration tasks
Key skills and aptitudes needed:
1. A minimum of 1 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant role
2. Solid organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
3. A good understanding of accounting principles and procedures
4. Excellent communication skills, including relationship building with individuals across the business
5. Ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines
6. Good proven knowledge of MS Office - especially Excel
7. Sage Line 50 experience
Location: Pride Park, Derby
Salary: Circa £25K (dependent on experience), with an excellent benefits package.
Hours of Work: 37 hours over a 5-day week
