Job Title: Deputy Team Manager (DTM) Social Work – Intermediate Care Team
Location: Southwark
Rate: From £36 per hour
We are recruiting for a Deputy Team Manager (DTM) Social Work role within Intermediate Care Southwark (ICS). ICS is an integrated team including physiotherapists, social workers, occupational therapists, nurses, pharmacists, and rehabilitation support workers who provide short-term, targeted support to avoid hospital admission and support discharges by working together to maximise a person’s independence.
What will your responsibilities be?
The post is responsible to the Team Manager with the Deputy Team Manager a core member of the social work team responsible for delivering the Reablement function for the people of Southwark. You will be responsible for the management and oversight of safeguarding adult cases and investigations, including the chairing of safeguarding meetings. Your responsibility includes developing and coordinating approaches to enable the delivery of services in an efficient and effective manner and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The postholder will have formal supervisory responsibilities and will offer guidance to new members of staff joining the service.

Qualifications and Experiences:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
