Contract Opportunity: Project Manager – Property / Technology (Inside IR35) – 5-month contract (likely to extend)

Immediate 5-month contract for an experienced Project Manager – Property / Technology with a strong foundation in technology and a passion for driving transformative change.
You will be managing a portfolio of change across the bank’s Property division so you who can lead with both strategic vision and technical insight.
In this role, you’ll guide project and program teams through every phase of the project management life cycle, ensuring that technology-driven Property initiatives deliver impactful results.
The key focus will be:
• Closure of existing sites
• Scoping of new sites
• Managing future retail programme of work
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Driving Technology-Enabled Projects: Mobilise and manage tech-centric projects using formal methodologies, ensuring seamless integration from planning to execution.
• Engaging Stakeholders: Develop and implement a robust stakeholder engagement plan, keeping sponsors, business owners, and suppliers informed with clear, continuous communication.
• Crafting Scope & Strategy: Work with project sponsors to define scope, business cases, and project plans that align with our tech-driven strategic objectives.
• Ensuring Governance & Compliance: Adhere to governance frameworks and apply a disciplined change control process to manage technological changes efficiently.
• Innovating with Technology: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design cutting-edge solutions, prioritise tech requirements, and tackle challenges with innovative strategies.
• Meeting Deadlines & Budgets: Deliver projects on time and within budget, using your tech knowledge to navigate complexities and ensure alignment with broader business strategies.
• Making Informed Decisions: Take ownership, assess technology-related challenges, and make critical decisions to drive projects forward through the full life cycle.
• Leading Diverse Teams: Coordinate teams of technical and non-technical experts across various locations, ensuring productive collaboration with third-party tech service providers.
Experience:
• Technology & Project Management Experience: Extensive experience managing change and delivering large-scale, tech-oriented Property projects, with a track record of success.
• Tech-Savvy Insight: Ability to understand and articulate technology challenges in business terms, delivering solutions that provide tangible business value.
• Methodological Mastery: Strong grasp of project management methodologies, particularly in technology-driven environments.
