Wm Pringle & Son Ltd is on the lookout for an experienced Traffic Clerk (Night Shift) to join our dynamic team In this role, youll play a vital part in ensuring our transport operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our drivers and keeping everything on track. What Youll Be Doing: ? Coordinating vehicle movements to ensure timely collections and deliveries. ? Communicating with drivers, customers, and third parties to keep operations flowing. ? Using vehicle tracking and traffic management software to monitor fleet performance. ? Briefing and debriefing drivers, making sure all documentation is completed correctly. ? Problem-solving on the go handling any issues that arise during the shift. ? Ensuring compliance with transport legislation and company policies. What Were Looking For: ?? Experience in a transport/logistics environment (preferred). ?? Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping. ?? Basic knowledge of UK transport legislation or a willingness to learn. ?? Familiarity with driver hours, working time directive & compliance (training provided). ?? Ability to work with Tachomaster & vehicle tracking software (training provided). ?? Good geographical knowledge of the UK. ?? Proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong communication skills. ??
