Regional Project Manager - South-East England
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Car/Allowance + Expenses
Location: South-East England (Including London)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Project Manager to join a well-established and growing specialist contractor in the flooring industry. Covering the South-East of England, including London, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects ranging in value from £300k to £4M. The role will involve working both on-site and from the company's head office a couple of days a week.
This role is replacing a previous Regional Project Manager who has been with the company for two years and is now moving on. The company is looking for a driven, organised, and experienced professional to ensure seamless project delivery, maintain client relationships, and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage multiple flooring projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Prepare and manage project programmes, schedules, and site logistics.
5. Conduct site visits, ensuring health & safety compliance and resolving on-site challenges.
6. Work closely with the design and estimating teams to ensure project requirements are met.
7. Prepare RAMS, risk assessments, and health & safety documentation.
8. Manage procurement, deliveries, and material logistics.
9. Financial oversight, including cost control, valuations, and invoicing.
10. Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring effective communication and performance.
11. Provide regular project updates and progress reports to senior management.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in project management within the construction sector, preferably flooring or a related trade.
2. Strong understanding of construction processes, site operations, and health & safety regulations.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Experience in financial management and cost control within projects.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project.
7. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
8. Relevant qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree in Construction Management or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
