An exciting opportunity has been made available with our client as a Marketing & Business Development Executive on an initial 12-Month fixed term contract. This client has worked with the likes of Toyota and Netflix who have recently filmed at the premises - a very exciting sector to be involved in. Based in a stunning part of the Cairngorms National Park, this is an incredible place to work. The estate has been welcoming visitors to their luxury holiday cottages, prestigious event venues, and award-winning outdoor activities. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the estate's commercial success by planning, coordinating, and executing a range of marketing initiatives.
Marketing and Business Development Executive
Responsibilities Include:
Business Growth and Opportunity Development: 60%
1. Sales & Marketing Integration: Partner with the sales team to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with sales strategy and targets, supporting event promotion and sales material updates.
2. Marketing Campaigns: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive marketing plans across online and offline channels. Manage SEO, website content, and daily social media updates to increase brand visibility.
3. Creative Content Production: Develop creative content, including print ads, blog posts, and social media graphics for platforms such as Facebook and Google Ads, to promote estate activities and offerings.
4. PR & Communications: Create engaging copy and content for all communication external channels in collaboration with the estate team. Organise presentations, press trips, and customer visits to promote the estate’s offerings.
5. Market Intelligence: Analyse commercial sales data, track industry trends, produce internal marketing & sales reports, and complete market intelligence surveys to inform strategic decisions.
6. Drive Business Growth: Identify, evaluate, and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's product offering and deepen existing client relationships.
7. Event Planning: Assist in the identification, development, and management of indoor and outdoor events, ensuring seamless coordination of staff for all aspects of large event inquiries.
Operational Support and Efficiency: 20%
1. Operational Objectives: Support the delivery of the company’s operational goals and delivery plan within the designated budget.
2. Budget Management: Complete and oversee budgets for the Sales & Marketing departments, including setting pricing for all products to align with revenue targets and market positioning.
3. Efficiency Improvements: Continuously seek to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal processes and team dynamics.

* Digital Marketing 2-5 years +
* Happy to work 5 days or live on site on the beautiful estate.
* Affordable cottages available on the estate. Currently a 1 and 2 bedroom cottage available. Well-behaved partners and dogs welcome.
* 5-10 weekends a year depending on the events which are on (they had Netflix and Toyota onsite last year filming).
* Would like someone who can make inroads with the Tourism sector e.g. cruise ships etc. to sell experience and events on the estate.
* Salary range - £28k-£35k DOE.
* Role Type – Fixed term contract 12 months (looking to go permanent).
