We are recruiting for a permanent Housing Advisor to work in our busy Housing Advice Service.
The role involves carrying out statutory functions under homelessness legislation and offering tailored housing advice and homelessness prevention options to customers.
If you have a working knowledge of homelessness legislation, landlord and tenant law, and choice-based lettings schemes, or if you have practical experience of decision making and offering complex advice to customers with a range of needs, the ability to work under pressure on your own initiative and as part of a busy team, and enjoy a challenge, then we would like to hear from you.
Enhanced DBS check is required.

Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £36,124 - £40,476 per annum (City Pay Band 5), pro rata for part-time.
Location: Central Cambridge/home working
