The Role - Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant
As a Challenging Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support children with challenging behaviour in small group and one-to-one settings.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies.
3. Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Encourage academic and social development while promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
1. Previous experience supporting students with challenging behaviour, either in an educational or similar setting.
2. Experience as a challenging behaviour teaching assistant or in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
3. An empathetic and patient disposition with excellent communication skills.
4. Based in or near the Small Heath area, with the flexibility to work across different schools.
