Behaviour Mentor – About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils who face challenges in regulating their behaviour. You will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and enhance learning outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring to support pupils with behavioural challenges.
* Helping pupils develop self-regulation, confidence, and resilience.
* Collaborating with staff to implement behaviour management strategies in the classroom.
* Monitoring and recording pupils’ progress and sharing updates with key stakeholders.
* Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
