Job Description
· Preparation of the following
o Management accounts with commentaries
o Budgets
o Forecasts
o Accounting policies and procedures
o Statutory accounts
o Cashflow forecast and reporting
o Payroll accounting
· Development and implementation of data quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy of data and financial controls
· Management and development of the UK finance team
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis
· Collect and analyse data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions
· Create and maintain reports to track key information and identify trends
The Successful Applicant
A successful UK Financial Controller should have:
* Full accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* Strong knowledge of financial laws and management
* Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
* Experience with financial software and MS Office
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data
