Due to growth and development, we are looking to strengthen our team with the addition of a skilled and motivated Resource Scheduling Planner/ Administrative Assistant. The company undertakes a range of protected species surveys (bats, dormice, reptiles) and botanical surveys, to inform scheme design for the planning process and conservation projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the planning and coordination of projects across the Homes Counties and South of England. We see this as a hybrid role, with the position split into resource scheduling and assisting the Project Administrator with various daily admin tasks. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule planned survey works effectively amongst our team of ecologists and subcontractors. Utilise knowledge of the geographical areas to optimize project planning and resource allocation. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are imported into the shared calendar. Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce innovative ideas to enhance team performance. Work effectively as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues as needed. Working with existing administrative staff with regards to staff expenses, invoices, company vehicles, etc General Administration and various ad-hoc tasks as required Requirements: Strong understanding of the Home Counties, South East and its motorway/road networks. Previous experience as a scheduling assistant within a similar field desirable but not essential. Keen, driven attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
