Role: Health Care Assistant
Shifts: Thursdays, Friday, Saturday & Alternate Monday Nights - 21:15PM to 7:15AM
Rate: £14-15 per hour
Location BH24, Ringwood

The Role:
We are looking for a unique individual to support with the difficult task of changing the bandages of our 15 year male client who suffers from a chronic skin condition called Epidermolysis bullosa (EB). This task is currently completed by his Dad who understandably finds it very difficult and, now his son is older would like to be able to train up someone else to support with this task.
Our Client:
The client has bandages over the majority of his body which are covering open wounds and blisters which require specific care to avoid infection. This is an extremely painful procedure and the client has specific pain medication prescribed to help with this. There will also always be a carer present who knows the client well to provide him with emotional support and reassurance throughout the process.
Requirements
⦁ 6 Months experience in a care focused role.
⦁ A right to work in the UK
⦁ Experience with PEG, Bandages and Medication Administration.
⦁ Outgoing bubbly attitude!
