We support all sectors of the financial services industry with advice on regulatory compliance, operating model transformation, assessing and monitoring risk and reducing costs in the supply chain. Job Description As a Senior Associate in R&RM you will work on a wide variety of different engagements that will allow you to leverage the experience you have gained in your career to date as well as quickly develop new skills across our core areas of focus, including: Operational Resilience - support clients build resilience and sustainability by embedding measures to prevent, respond to, recover and learn from operational disruptions, with a particular focus on important services and third parties, technology, data, premises and people. Business Continuity - support the transformation of clients Business continuity programme and integration with Operational Resilience Outsourcing and third party risk management (TPRM) - work on the design, build and implementation of regulatory compliant frameworks, and help our clients to assess third party controls, monitor ongoing risk and define activities to improve their operating environment, including the selection and implementation of process management and reporting tools. Governance and Non-Financial Risk - review, design, implement and transform risk and control frameworks - reviewing existing client risk management and control frameworks and supporting with design and implementation of new frameworks. We are looking for individuals with experience across one or more of these areas. It is not expected that you will have worked in all these areas. Key Responsibilities Working with the engagement manager, leader and broader engagement team, you will support the manager with and at times take responsibility for various areas of the engagement, which may include: Supporting assessments of clients’ operations to determine opportunities for improvement Supporting the delivery of engagements in alignment with client objectives and expectations Working with other team members (PwC and client) to develop and implement new ways of working that meet client objectives and expectations Writing reports for clients, regulators and other internal and external stakeholders Supporting business development activities such as preparing responses to tenders, creating proposal documents and supporting in the creation of market facing thought leadership Conducting market research to support the development of new client relationships and opportunities. Ownership of your personal development to ensure you are equipped with the skills relevant to the proposition now and in the future. Coaching junior members of the team, providing support, training and feedback. Essential Skills Understanding and experience with essential financial services risk and resilience regulations (Operational Resilience, Outsourcing and TPRM) Experience in building visualisations & dashboards in relevant tooling (PowerBI, Tableau) Possession of strong team working and leadership skills, including the ability to work as a team and under your own initiative A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate new client propositions Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients at all levels Strong oral and written communication skills (e.g. running walkthroughs, report writing) Preferred Skills Demonstrable experience of working on multiple projects, managing your time effectively to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines; Technical financial services knowledge, including an understanding of the Insurance, Asset Management and Banking industries Data management and transformation skills, including but not limited to: data cleaning and preprocessing,data querying, data analysis and visualisations Commercial acumen and an interest in how complex organisations operate; and Strong analytical, logic and problem-solving skills.
