Capita has a new opportunity to join our Digital Operations Team as a Web Experimentation Lead. The Web Experimentation Lead will be responsible for web experimentation and optimisation on the TV Licensing website, aiming to enhance user experience, promote self-service and boost conversion rates through strategic, data-informed experimentation. This role requires close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and key BBC stakeholders to build, design, test, execute, and analyse test performance, with a strong emphasis on developing experiments by working with Product Owners to leverage data through various analytics platforms. You will need to be pro-active and have an eye for detail to be successful in this role. This is a full-time permanent role, offering hybrid working arrangements (office working assigned to our Darwen, Lancashire office). Job title: Experimentation Lead Job Description: Core Responsibilities: Drive forward the delivery of the Digital-First strategy, ensuring that this aligns with wider business challenges and priorities. Build & Develop experiments (Primarily using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) in core web technologies. Experiment Design: Understanding of A/B testing principles and how to design effective experiments. Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues during implementation. Develop, build and implement A/B and multivariate tests on the TV Licensing website Build, develop & correctly launch experiments on the TV Licensing website (Primarily using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Work with the Web Product Owner & Senior Product Owners in utilising various analytics platforms to analyse and review test outcomes and derive actionable insights to improve website performance. Proactively identify new opportunities for optimisation on the Web. Work with the Senior Product Owners to effectively manage prioritisation of the experimentation pipeline. What you'll need to bring: Demonstrated experience in web experimentation and conversion rate optimisation Proficiency in web analytics, user behaviour analysis, and testing methodologies Demonstrated experience in development, with demonstrated proficiency in HTML and JavaScript to design, build, implement and customise experiments Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business, to understand & deliver on requirements for new experimentation builds Ability to manage and coordinate requests from both internal and external stakeholders Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail Ability to prioritise competing workload across the team and wider business Experience of working with and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders (Desirable) Experience with Content Square Analytics platform (Desirable) Experience with the Optimizely platform What's in it for you?
