About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of beer enthusiasts. In this hands-on, physical role, you’ll be involved in packaging and delivering our exceptional beers. Primarily based in the brewery, the role also includes acting as a relief driver to ensure our beers reach their destinations.
What You’ll Get Up To:
* Packaging beer
* Preparing casks for packaging
* Setting up, operating and cleaning brewery equipment
* Undertaking warehouse duties including assisting with incoming and outgoing stock
* Operating a forklift when required (training will be provided)
* Acting as relief driver for our 3.5T van, covering other staff and increasing capacity at busy times
* Delivering beer to cellars and retrieving empty containers
Who Are We Looking For
We’re searching for someone who is:
* A confident driver with a full driving licence (you’ll need to drive a 3.5t vehicle)
* Eager to undertake training on driving a vehicle of 7.5t
* Physically capable of meeting the job’s demands (moving full beer casks and kegs can be heavy)
* A great communicator and team player
* Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of different tasks.
* Be a Joule’s Ambassador, passionate about great beer and great pubs.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous driving and warehouse experience.
* Experience in a brewery or a food-focused environment
* A forklift licence (though not essential, as training can be provided)
* A HGV licence (though not essential, as training opportunities are available)
