Location: South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55
Salary: £32,604.00
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
About the Role:
As a QA Officer at Alloga, you will play a vital role in supporting our business to comply with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. You will ensure operations are carried out safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards expected by our clients and regulatory bodies. This role includes managing a small team, so previous experience in people management is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Report all accidents and near misses immediately to the Health & Safety Manager.
2. Ensure all QA activities align with company procedures and client instructions.
3. Support compliance with GDP, GMP, and ISO 9001 standards.
4. Conduct internal and supplier audits as per the defined schedule.
5. Raise, investigate, and manage deviations and corrective actions.
6. Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels regarding quality metrics, deviations, and improvements.
7. Manage and support QA Administrators (direct reports), providing guidance and oversight.
8. Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations and client requirements.
What We're Looking For:
1. Strong communication skills at all levels of the business, with the ability to influence and engage effectively.
2. Demonstrated experience in managing people and teams.
3. Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
4. Previous QA experience, ideally in a GDP environment.
5. Knowledge of UK pharmaceutical regulations and GDP practices.
6. Ideally educated to degree level.
7. A car is highly desirable, as we operate on a large campus.
