This role has a requirement to attend the Exeter office in the future, with a blend of home and office working. The Role: As a Clinical Researcher, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our FDB US Editorial and Data Structure group and assist with a range of tasks. In this key role, you will be mainly responsible for entering clinical and non-clinical data into our clinical content management system with the highest levels of accuracy, following established editorial policies and instructions. Other duties will include: Obtain and compare source information for inclusion within knowledge base content Perform various data entry tasks to record or verify a variety of source information into knowledge base content Research product submission, makes observations, analyses data and follows editorial policies and work procedures Work collaboratively in a group as a team member to accomplish stated goals Help to resolve issues or errors to continuously improve our quality standards Assist the Customer Services Team with any queries as well as communicate with drug manufacturers Work on projects to support new and existing customer requirements We are curious and we put health at the heart of all we do, for the wellbeing of our employees, our customers and the health services. About You: To join us as a Clinical Researcher, you’ll need: At minimum, a 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline OR previous clinical experience, such as clinical content maintenance A high level of IT literacy, including MS Outlook, Word and Excel and great typing skills The ability to accurately enter complex clinical data Excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to work well as part of a team and on an individual basis Self driven and organised Good time management and prioritisation skills Good communicator in both written and spoken English Be flexible and adaptable to work with different teams across UK and US time zones (no requirement to work after 6:30pm UK) Previous experience within a healthcare or software development organisation is desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology would also be an advantage, as would the ability to understand disease states.
